Vamsi Krishna Pendyala is a Software Engineer with a strong background in backend development and competitive programming. He has worked with both MNCs and startups, gaining experience in Java, Linux, C, C++, Python, and other technologies. Vamsi is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University after completing his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology Agartala. Vamsi has a keen interest in backend development and has developed and deployed multiple REST-APIs using Java Servlets, SpringBoot & Spring, enhanced existing software products, developed new software components, and developed Python scripts to load new SFTP-based incoming files. He has also worked with the Backend Technical On-Call support team, interacting with clients and business teams about various technical features and requirements, resolving issues related to existing software products, and onboarding new campaigns and clients. Vamsi is skilled in JAVA, Python, JavaScript, MySQL, VerticaDB, Aerospike, Shell Scripting, Jenkins, AWS, Kafka, and System Design. Vamsi has also worked with Epsilon as a Software Engineer 1, where he worked on data onboarding using Python, Greenplum, and PostgreSQL to onboard data from raw files to the Data Warehouse. He developed various PostgreSQL & Python scripts to process data and built in-house data-onboarding software applications to reduce manual effort by 80%. Vamsi has also worked with Datami as a Software Development Intern, where he designed automation and testing frameworks on Java, performed various types of unit testing, and built a network tunnel using Python Tornado and Asyncio to create parallel user requests on the network’s REST-APIs, reducing the processing time by 84.3%. Vamsi has participated in multiple hackathons and programming contests and has won the IICDC-2017. He has also published a paper at RANLP-2019.
